Funeral Home Negligence
Malley Law Firm recently filed claims on behalf of a woman against a funeral home and cemetery in San Patricio County, Texas for wrongful burial. Our client alleges she and her family were trying to decide between burying her deceased mother in the Houston, Texas area where she passed or Aransas Pass where she spent much of her life. The Funeral Home in Aransas Pass represented the deceased would be buried in the burial plot next to her late husband. Our client relied on the representation and paid for services. After the burial, the family discovered their mother was buried elsewhere. The family is alleging negligent misrepresentation and violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
